Annual Performances
At PCPA Studios we hold two performances each year to give the students the opportunity to showcase their hard work in a formal setting and learn vital onstage performance skills.
Mid Year Presentation
Held at the Wyndham Cultural Centre in Werribee this is a more low key affair only involving students aged 5yrs and above. The Mid Year Presentation is a fantastic event to give the students an extra chance to perform with out all the extra bells and whistles. Students will showcase their exam and class exercises as well as exam dances. They perfrom in their class uniforms and no extra rehearsals are required. Competition solos will be presented and students are also given the oppurtunity to choreograph and perform their own dances onstage.
Annual Concert
Our PCPA Studios End of Year Concert is held annually in December at the Wyndham Cultural Centre Theatre in Werribee. All students of any age are encouraged to particpate and students begin working towards this event in September each year. Fully costumed and rehearsed it is the highlight of the dancing year and students are very excited every year to show off their hard work to all their family and friends. Students over 5 years are required to attend 2 extra saturday rehearsals and all students are required to attend the theatre rehearsal in November to ensure they are fully prepared. Costumes are hired from the school for a small hire fee and no sewing is required by the parents unless you wish to donate your skills. A DVD of the concert is available to buy each year and students are given the oppurtunity to attend a Photo Day to have professional photographs taken in their concert costumes as a lasting momento of their dancing years.
